Pauline Slater is the Principal Physiotherapist and founder of Bendy Bodies Hypermobility Physiotherapy and Learn to Move Physiotherapy in Adelaide.

She is passionate about assisting clients of all ages with learning difficulties, connective tissue disorders such as EDS and HSD and the often seen comorbidity of POTS . 

Her skills and knowledge will help you deal with persistent and chronic pain, challenging musculoskeletal conditions, endurance issues, complex health concerns and, neurosensory and neurodivergence.

Through patient-driven goal setting, I focus on providing wholistic healthcare,  physiotherapy, education, support, and understanding for the whole family.

My Story

I have been a physiotherapist for 30 years, beginning my career at Westmead Children's Hospital, in Sydney and then........

 

Through this 30-year career and extensive professional development, including the UK and Australasian EDS-ECHO courses, and a Masters of Education, Pauline has developed specialised skills and knowledge to treat patients with Hypermobile Spectrum Disorders (HSD), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Connective Tissue Disorders and children’s neuroeducational and neurosensory disorders, such as ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. 

 

Pauline is currently applying for approval to conduct a PhD, through the University of Adelaide,  which will examine "Preconceptions, awareness and educational access in Australia for the medical and allied health professions regarding EDS, hEDS, and HSD, and the often-seen comorbidity of POTS".
